For the Public Good
I recently wrote a book called “For the Public Good: Starting an Eduational or Research Non-profit Organization.” You can read excerpts of it online. I still don’t know where to get ahold of one of these eBooks, but I’ll let you know as soon as I find out.
When I started, I thought I was in way over my head. The task seemed enormous. It took me like two days to get a proper outline. I even called my mom, the former Accountant’s Assistant, Bookkeeper and Trust Officer and asked her what she knew about it. Nothing it turns out. She did, however, challenge the assumptions that I had made when I first pitched the book to DocRocket, and much to my pleasure, found out that I’d learned more than I thought during the course of my very slow research on my poor, old laptop.
“Fine then,” I said to no one in particuluar when I hung up the phone. “I can write a book about this.” And, I did.
I also updated the Books & Goods section of the website
